Good piece of kit, I bought an updated version of the Macbook Pro I had, however when I came to migrate it wouldn’t migrate all data over and said there wasn’t enough space. The original unit had the same disk size with 100gb to spare.I returned the unit, if you are in the 400gb region think about next Disk up. 5 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars The laptop is great, amazon customer service not so much The laptop is a noticeable upgrade even to the last generation of M chips and the extra ram is a great addition however the weight is its downfall. I have a 16” Intel MacBook pro and the 14” is apparently lighter but feels significantly heavier.Now for the customer service. I bought the laptop 17 days ago and it’s already had a £164 price cut. That’s not an insignificant amount and given the 3 month return window I contacted customer service to see if they would just refund the amount but nope, they recommend you return it and repurchase the laptop at the discounted price… 11 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars My happy return to Apple OK, I had left Apple 5 years ago and moved to Samsung, which for the most part I was seriously happy with, until their top of the range Samsung Galaxy Book Ultra 3 was so incredibly disappointing - 1 hour battery life on intensive tasks, overheating etc.I decided to move back to Apple and this laptop has really proved how superior it is to other laptops out there. Incredible battery life, premium build quality, easy OS and seriously speedy. It is expensive, but I am convinced that, particularly for creators and those with intensive computer needs, that this laptop is is the one to get. 5 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Super fast, really powerful, lightweight and great battery life I bought the M4 Pro MacBook to replace my 2019 i9 16inch MacBook Pro. This laptop is much lighter, and the M4 Pro is way faster. I found the battery barely drops even when exporting 4k clips. It’s slightly faster than my desktop 5800x 3080 at exporting videos in Davinci Resolve for a fraction of the size and power consumption. 7 people found this helpful

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy from Amazon Laptop works fine, won't let me add card details for the app store. . .gone to apple store, the laptop needs to be wiped and "OS system" needs to be reinstalled. . .apparently it's a common problem with macs that are not bought directly from Apple. . 5.0 out of 5 stars Significant upgrade from previous MacBook I purchase the M4 Pro chip version with a 1TB drive as an update for my 2020 MacBook Air with i7 chip, 16GB RAM and 1TB drive.When I have previously upgraded my MacBooks, it has been nice to have the new model, but to be honest I have only ever noticed marginal improvements in performance.Changing from the 2020 i7 MB Air to this MacBook Pro M4 Pro is a very different story.The new machine is hugely quicker than my old laptop. Literally like night and day.I have always bought MB Airs before, as I travel a lot and preferred the lighter weight. This time I thought I would go for performance rather than weight. The MB Pro is noticeably heavier, but not too significantly, and definitely worth it for both the performance increases, the slightly larger screen and the additional ports that it has (e.g. 3 Thunderbolt ports, HDMI and an SD card slot).Very impressed and very pleased with the purchase. 9 people found this helpful
